Deploy and qualify
A control plane and a regional data plane, with clear release gates.
GCP deployment
Deployment configuration is prepared in the repository. Review operating costs and credentials before provisioning. Cloud tests are manual, paid runs; never automatic CI. The historical exploration budget remains separate from approval for operating infrastructure.
Data plane
The proposed regional pool uses ZFS on replicated block storage, serving ext4 images through authenticated TLS/NFS sessions. Full and incremental checkpoint streams publish to the bucket configured for that worker deployment. Self-hosted operators can use their own bucket. Hosted per-organization BYOK credentials and a customer bucket vault are not implemented. A replicated disk does not replace an independent bucket backup.
Release gates
Validate root isolation and revocation, partitions and flush failures, interrupted publication, memory pressure, concurrent workspaces and restoration onto an independent disk. Report which evidence is from simulated backends, real transport or disaster recovery.
